After graduation from High School I went to Los Angeles, City College and met my husband Sam there, so at the age of 19 1 got married. He was going to college to become a CPA and I went to work at various clerical jobs to help support us. When he graduated he took a job with the IRS and we bought a house in the San Fernando Valley, Then in 1961, Steven was born and shortly there after we moved to Sylmar. In 1964, David was born. In 1968 we moved to San Jose, Calif. and Sam became Tax Director for Memorex and I was a stay at home Mom. I did sell Avon for a few years... In 1973, Sam took a job with Talley Industries here in Arizona and we moved to the desert of Scottsdale. We moved way out and purchased 1-1/2 acres. It was nice and rural at that time. When Steven left for college and David was in High School I decided I needed something to do so I bought a small Resale Shop in Phoenix.

I owned the Resale Shop in Phoenix for 20 years and it grew and grew leading me into the Antiques and Collectible Field. I had several spaces in Antique Malls and frequently handled Estate Sales. I sold the store 9 years ago and now I'm just on Ebay to keep myself busy and also do some volunteer work.

Our son Steven is CEO of Meritage Homes, home builder, which he founded at age of 28. David has a Men's New and Resale Clothing store here in Phoenix. Steven has 3 girls, 13,9 & 4 and 1 Boy 8 Months old. David has 1 girl age 12, We really enjoy our grandchildren and spend a lot of time with them.

We have traveled extensively throughout the years and would like to be able to travel more.

I have a lot of hobbles and keep busy all the time, I have many found memories of my childhood in Burbank and school days.
