DENNIS GROSSMAN and ROWLEEN

Cox Coop sent this Harvey to us in Burbank. We have to keep it locked up or it might make a lot more wabbits. Sharon said TN was glad to get rid of this guy as he was making little wabbits with all the lady wabbits there.
Now Burbank has a problem.

My Biography

My life hasn't been too exciting but I have been very happy being a simple conservative person and not changing things much. I have the same wife of 44 yrs. Lived in this same house all my life except for our first 6 yrs. of marriage when we bought a house at 1820 N. Naomi. Sold it to the Andrizzo Family as we bought my parents house to raise our kids to go to the same schools we went to. Wayne Andrizzo and his parents bought our Naomi House in 64. They are cousins of Ron Geraci.

I think we grew up in a great time. Things were pretty safe and we sure enjoyed doing things with the neighbor kids, like classmates, Cal Roe, Gary Carr, Dick Mardis, and Bob Gordon. There were 5 of us the same age and we still keep in contact.

Rowleen and I have 2 sons, 41 & 40, and a 38 yr. old daughter. We have a 12 yr. old granddaughter that goes to Jordan and a 3 mo. old grandson.

We have enjoyed boating, camping, fishing, dirt biking, and of course followed our kids sports all thru their growing up years. I have been active in volunteering for our Burbank Family YMCA for 35 yrs. and in volunteering for various church activities for 45 yrs. I had a Martinos Bakery Route Franchise for 35 yrs. and only retired when the wholesale part of the bakery closed down in 98.

We get away in our motor home as much as possible but are tied down some with baby sitting our two grandchildren. We have gone to Lake Shasta, in northern CA. almost every year since 1958. We have gone to Lake Powell about 8 or 9 times over the years and have taken a trip across the US in 76 with our kids in our motor home and then took the kids and motor home to Alaska in 78. We have enjoyed an Alaska 12 day cruise with Cal and Barbara Roe on their 25 th. anniversary.

We also went on a 14 Day Carribean Cruise and a 7 day Mississippi River Cruise with good friends Richard and Jean Anderson. (Class of 57) We have been to Hawaii 3 times and really enjoyed it. As of now we like to go to the beach, mountains, and lakes in our motor home. We have gone boating and camping with a large group of friends for over 40 yrs. and now some of our kids and grandkids still join us old folks. We are going to Shasta with a big group of old friends on June 15 for a week. Our boat is 30 yrs. old and needs some expensive work so this will be our last yr. for having a boat. Our kids have wave runners and are looking for a boat so it won't be necessary for us to have one. We sure have had a lot of great boating trips since buying this boat in 72.

We would like to take some more cruises but they cost so much so we are sticking to shorter camping trips for now. Our longest trip was 2 yrs. ago where we drove 11,000 miles in 7 weeks. We went thru 27 states and as far as Key West FL and then up to Bar Harbor Maine.

It is so great that we can keep in contact so easy with computers. Carol has done such a great job as reunion chairman and is a tireless worker in finding our missing. We have so many more great interchanges with the ones that Carol has found. I know God or some supreme being is guiding our class as so many great things have fallen into place that had to be done by someone more powerful than any human. Just running into the Lillys a year ago Easter Sunday was a true blessing. So many things have fallen into place - Carol can give story after story on how she tracked down many of our missing. So many things seemed to fall in place to help our class.

IT IS SO GREAT THAT SO MANY IN OUR CLASS ARE KEEPING IN CONTACT!
