History
1963 Married Nancy Bayard (class of '57) for 17 years; daughter Lara came along 1969
1966 Started Dental Office in San Jose, CA and still practicing dentistry today
1967 Opened Boat Shop & worked with jet drives with Berkeley Pump Co developing thermostatic control on jet drive engines for O.E.M. warranties
1968 Bought Mooney Airplane & flew it several hundred hours, bought first race car-end of flying
1970 Raced in SCCA with Porsche Speedster, developing engine & chassis for specific application
1975 Started Modoc Indian Dental Clinic-leading to federal funding path for many more clinics
1977 Switched to racing Formula Ford in SCCA series of hypereutectic pistons available today
1980's and 90's traveled with motor home in Western United States and Canada water skiing, wind surfing, hiking, and mountain biking
1996 Raced shifter go-carts
1997 Acquired and continue to develop North Lake Resort, a RV Park and on Ten Mile Lake on the Southern Oregon Coast
2000 Worked with Von Schweikert Audio on high efficiency speaker design which led to production of DB 99 and DB 100 speakers; influenced design on the mega buck speakers available today
2001 Married second wife Dee, after being together for 20 years; and continue to enjoy doing all the above
