BILL BULGER and CAROLINE
My Biography

I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 5, 1936. My family moved to California in 1945 and we eventually settled in Burbank, on Parish St. I attended Lincoln Elementary School, both Jordan and Luther Burbank Jr. High and then John Burroughs High.

In 1957 I married Caroline Arroyo, who was a Burroughs graduate from the class of '56 and was also attending Glendale College. We settled in Reseda, had two children (Robert in '58 and Cathy in '61). I also began my career with General Motors in 1957, where I worked at various jobs at the GM Van Nuys plant.

In 1973, I was transferred to GM's Headquarters near Detroit, MI as a project manager in Information Systems and remained there for 3 years, returning back to California in 1976, buying a home in Chatsworth. In 1985, I was transferred to EDS as a systems manager and relocated in Arlington, Texas where we remain today. We now have four grandchildren, three girls (ages 18, 22, 24) who also live here in Arlington, and a grandson age 7 who lives in Ventura, CA.

I retired from EDS in 1995 after thirty eight years of combined service with GM and EDS. My wife and I enjoy traveling and we have visited a number of different countries since my retirement. But we most of all enjoy our vacations and visits with the family back in Burbank and other parts of California.
